Scarlet Tunic South Wales Borderers 24th Foot 1907 Pattern Other Ranks



South wales borderers scarlet dress tunic other ranks 1907 pattern. 24th regmient of foot, 2nd warwickshire. Original tunic in good condition considering it's age. Unreadable trace of original label remains. Usually these labels were dated between 1907 nad 1915 approx. No obvious signs of mothing. A few tiny marks which would probably dry clean out. Holes to collar where collar badges were fitted. Fitted wtih small metal loops at the top of the arms for shoulder wings, therfore possibly was a musicians band tunic. Feint stich marks ot right sleeve shows possible band lyre badge and corporals stripes were once fitted. These have been carefully removed. All sizes approx- 36 inch chest, 14 inch collar, 30 inch waist.
