Original Pair Of Civil War Period BrogansDirect from an area barn in untouched condition, not even wiped off with a rag! Classic style brogans worn by union army soldiers and possibly some confederates. This type with the side rivets have been excavted at union army campsites in tennesesse adn also show up in period pictures. I can see on makers or inspector's marks. Measure 10 inches long heel to toe, pretty close to a size some point the original owner decided he was tired of lacing them and hda a buckle and strap arrangement riveted directly over the lace holes. One of these straps has a missing end. Condition is pretty good and solid, except for damages shown in the pictures and a few small worn spots. A wonderful opportunity to to have a pair of these. Many of hte best civil war collections cannot boast a pair of brogans!
