Napoleonic British Cavalry Grey Woolen TrousersThis auction is for a beautifully and professionally hand-made re-enactment pair of grey woolen cavalry trousers from the napoleoinc wars. Made from pure wyedean wool, they do up wiht metal buttons at the front, and lacing at the back. They are in very good condition, and the colours are strong and clear. Bright scarlet striping on each leg runs down and over the leather leg bottoms which not only make these trousers stand out, they also afford great protection against dirt and grime, both mounted and on foot. These trousers are hugely versatile and will od for many types of uniform. Thsi will fit an xl male up to 40 waist. This would also make a versatile theatrical costume. |
