Offered here is an original civl war uniform, for a member of the new york state artillery. It is named inside the tunic heidenreich 1st b. H it is also marked schy? 3bh, as well as grant kernerhay harding. The jacket has some issues, but overall is a great piece and does display quite nicely. It is missinig a total of 5 buttons down the front. There are buttons from 2 makers on the jacket, evans & scovill. There is also a cut ot the bottom left waist area, but i've shown it pulled together to show that it will look fine if repaired. There are some loose seams about, but nothing too bad, i've pictured the insied of some of these to show the construction of the jacket. I've also done the same with one of the chevrons to show the backing material. There are loops for shoulder boards, none are present though. To the bottom of the tails are 2 super nice bullion ordnance or artlilery insignia. Teh measurements are as follows. Shoulder to cuff-25 1/2, across the chest pit to pit-18, across the shoulders-18, collar to bottom of tails-36.
